We sent off our application to register as a CIC (Community Interest Company today. The CIC is a not-for-profit structure that is limited by guarantee. Once we’re an official entity there’ll be so much more that we can do to promote, and fund the movement. The registration process takes about 3-4 weeks as it’s first handled by Companies House and then by the CIC regulators. So, keep your fingers crossed for us – and we’ll post back with the results.
