Antony Cholerton
(Founder and Council Guide)
Antony Cholerton, a trained Council Guide, founded The Children’s Fire Movement C.I.C back in 2012. He currently lives near Bude, Cornwall in the UK along with his wife and three beautiful children.
For many years he has dedicated his life to delving more deeply into the human condition and has studied both contemporary and indigenous disciplines for evoking positive, life-enhancing changes within individuals and community groups. His passion has always been with the earth wisdom teachings (or Medicine as it is known).
He has recently completed coding phase one of the buddygroups support platform that will be used by the CFM ( and other trainers, therapists and organisations) to more comprehensively support participants whilst running personal development programmes.
His main passion is in contributing support, through the Children’s Fire Movement, towards providing a beautiful, life-affirming legacy for our future generations.
Sue Goodwin
(Council Guide)
Sue completed a 5-year training in the Origin Teachings of the Delicate Lodge with her teacher WhiteEagle. In December 2011 she completed the Council guide Training, and in September 2014 , the Black Lodge training. She is also a ‘seed planter’ for the Disciplines of Peace, and qualified as an instructor for the Dance of the Directions in 2015.
All these teachings have brought her so much personal transformation and joy that she is deeply committed to sharing them with others, both in groups and in her one to one work with her clients. She has been sharing the teachings of the Beauty Way and running ceremonial sweat lodges for several years, and plans to do so for as long as she is able. She continues with self training, study and reflective and meditative practices.
Richard Good
(Council Guide)
Richard Good, born in Scotland, has studied the human condition through the acting, healing and martial arts. His relationship with, and love of nature unfolded as a deep resonance with the ‘medicine ways’ as he embarked upon a journey of learning with medicine men and women from all over the Earth. This wisdom inspired a healing practice which he shared with many in London and at retreats both in Wales and Cornwall, UK.
Richard was moved by the mystery and pragmatism of the Teachings of the Delicate Lodge and participated in Council Guide Training (CGT) in Turkey with his teacher White Eagle Woman.
He now lives in Cornwall and has dedicated the last 17 years to working at the educational charity called the Eden Project.
Padraig Murphy
(Council Guide)
Fascinated by electromagnetism from a young age Pádraig has been interested in the ‘seen’ and the ‘unseen’, the physical and the non physical. Electromagnetism cannot be seen itself, yet we see its effect every day in the physical world we live in and experience. It conjures up a reality that we call our universe and without it we would not exist in the way we do. A Shakespeare quote sums it up for him:
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
– Hamlet (1.5.167-8), Hamlet to Horatio
Pádraig has always been interested in how things work – be it machines or humans. What is the energy behind the manifestation we see, the unseen that drives the seen? As humans we seem to have great paradoxes that can baffle us even when we know them and the ultimate is how we create so much conflict when all we want is peace. Something does not add up here – so how do we get what we want then?
He has looked for ways to understand these apparent paradoxes in order to understand his own life. In the process he is learning how to live in a way that results in more peace and happiness as an everyday experience.
There are many ways to do this and everyone needs to find the way that suits themselves. Having been on his own journey of understanding and healing he wants to support others who are on their journey – being part of buddygroups is his way of bringing this into reality.
